was founded in Springfield, Ohio in 1911 by the Hugo Bosca Family. With
strong connections in the Italian leather trade, their family imports
quality leather and leather goods, as well as manufacturer items
themselves to the highest European standards. Bosca is a family-owned and
run company with a reputation built on the quality of their products.
The Bosca Old Leather
Collection is both incredibly handsome and elegant. The coloring on each
piece is applied by hand-sponging vegetable dyes onto the leather
according to a centuries-old Tuscan technique. Each skin is then ironed to
produce a deep and varied color that allows the hides natural features to
show through.

The Stringer Bag is a fully
featured double zip-top bag made by Bosca in their quality Old Leather. It
is 11.5" x 16.0" x 4.25" wide, poly-cotton lined. It will hold a 15.4 inch
computer. The 2 inch nylon and leather detachable carry strap has a curved
and padded slip-resistant shoulder pad for comfort. There is a snap
closure hand grip, a flat roller-bag attachment strap on the side, and
metal backed rubber feet on the bottom.
The bag is designed with unusual attention to detail. It has two main
compartments, one of which is gusseted, with Bosca's signature
organizational suite and a full length open pocket. There are two 12"
zippered inside pockets, and two 13" outside pockets. The main zippers
allow the use of a lock. This is a light weight bag, only 2.4 lbs., but
durable. The leather is hand stained in Italy, the bag assembled in China.
